Briefs Filed in Supreme Courts of Ohio and Pennsylvania in Nader Cases

October 15th, 2004

On October 15, all briefs were filed in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in Nader’s ballot access case, and likewise all briefs were filed in his ballot access case in the Ohio Supreme Court.

Nader is still waiting for a decision from the 9th circuit in his Arizona case. All the briefs were in as of October 13.

    And may I just say that I’m truly amazed to find ourselves only 15 days before the election and Nader’s place on the ballot is still in question in 4 states. How can the ballot ever be ready in time for Nov 2nd, let alone absentees, in those states? As embarassing as the chaos in Florida was in 2000, it’s just crazy to have a ballot access process that’s so convoluted and so prone to lawsuits that we end up with this situation.
