I know that is right. I saw this in the Independent Candidate for U S Representative Ballot Access Signature Petition phase of the Congressional Campaign last Spring, Summer and Fall. Many, many people,of the 5,447, said, as they signed my Petition, they have been voting Republican or Democratic or are Independent and have never voted but “I will now vote for you Mr. Layfield” in the, 7 November 06, General Election in Alabama’s Third Congressional District.
