Pennsylvania Independent for Governor at 16% in Rasmussen Poll
April 29th, 2006On April 29, Rasmussen Polls released a Pennsylvania gubernatorial poll, showing incumbent Democratic Governor Ed Rendell at 40%, Lynn Swann (Republican nominee, former football star) at 36%, independent Russ Diamond at 16%.

Good for Russ! He will certainly get MY vote! Hopefully the onerous signature requirement won’t be a problem.

Rolf- Last election cycle he ran for State Representative AND U.S. Representative on the LP ticket. I believe he has also been a GOP nominee for office in the past. He was one of three people who was declared “people of the year” by the Philadelphia Enquirer for his work in exposing the clandestine pay raise the General Assembly voted themselves at 2 am just before adjournment in July. He probably won’t win but he deserves as many votes from Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Reformers and other independents as we can get him.

Russ is now an Independent, he is also the Founder/Head of PACleanSweep
