Should they also be denied other rights, such as their right to free speech and freedom of religion? There are many people in prison who are there on bugus "crimes" such as non-violent drug "offenses." The biggest crooks in the country hold political offices and run large government agencies. If anyone shouldn't be allowed to vote it's them. If a person has served their sentence then why shouldn’t they be able to vote?
