Democrats Will Hold Convention in Denver

January 12th, 2007

On December 11, the Democratic National Committee chose Denver as its 2008 presidential convention city. The only other city in the running had been New York city. Mayor Michael Bloomberg had seemed to discourage the Democrats from meeting in New York. Some feel that Bloomberg didn’t want to be placed in the awkward position of hosting the Democratic convention in 2008 if he himself were running as an independent presidential candidate. No one knows if he will run as an independent presidential candidate, but there is speculation that he is thinking about it.

    Poor Denver.
Currently the terrible winter storms and freezing temperatures of knee-deep snow.
Soon the terrible hot air of the bilge-filled Democrats.

Funny. This is the same city the Libertarian Party has chosen for its 2008 convention.
