Restrictive Campaign Sign Ordinance Quashed
April 27th, 2007On April 26, the city of Easton, Pennsylvania, agreed not to enforce a city ordinance that requires a fee of $25 for individuals to post campaign signs. The Democratic Party had filed a lawsuit in federal court, and the city gave in. The case is Democratic Party v City of Easton, 2:07-cv-1591.
