Attempting to turn independent voters into a political party is not going to work. There is no way to organize faction the way political parties do using independent voters. Political parties are self-created societies which seek special status in government the same way royalty in European governments have special status. Independent voters have all the status they need as registered voters. When the United States first started, all voters were independent voters. Political parties in this country are going to destroy themselves trying to get rid of independent voters.
