How could someone support both Walt Brown, a fervent socialist, and Ron Paul, who opposes just about everything Walt Brown supports with equal fervor?

This strange aura around Ron Paul with which he has been anointed by people on the left who don't seem to grasp his desire to dismantle everything they believe in continues to astound me. Ron Paul is Ronald Reagan minus the warmongering and saber rattling. How can that kind of candidate possibly be appealing to anyone who supported the Socialist Party candidate for president in 2004?

Cynthia and Ralph are on the ballots of both the Green Party and the Peace and Freedom Party here in California. I will be voting for Mr. Nader in the PFP-CA presidential primary on February 5th. If we had preferential voting, Rep. McKinney would be my second choice.

Oh right I forgot about that. I was an active Green way back when and was horny for McKinney to run in 2004 but became disgusted with both Nader and Cobb and got behind Walt Brown. This year of course I'm down with the Ron Paul Revolution.

Yeah I know that but I am not sure how many of her supporters here in Georgia will join her in her new party. I have talked with a few and they have no intention of becoming active in the Green Party.

I think if she had a desire to grow the Green Party in Georgia she probably wouldn't of moved to California

McKinney is now their likely nominee so if anything they probably have an even better shot now in Georgia.

Do you think this will have an impact on the Green Party in Georgia getting on the ballot? I wasn't sure how much of the state party might be made up of Brown supporters
