Louisiana Republican Caucus

Although Louisiana holds a presidential primary on February 9, the Republican Party chooses its delegates to the national convention with a two-step caucus/convention system. The first round was held on January 22, when approximately 10,000 Louisiana Republicans turned out to vote in eleven different cities for delegate to the state convention. Each U.S. House district chose 15 delegates.

It appears that Ron Paul supporters outnumbered the supporters of any of his opponents. But since this was predicted, the supporters of Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, cooperated to set up a “fusion” slate of unpledged candidates for Delegate. The “fusion” slate, labeled the “Pro-Life/Pro-Family” slate, beat the Ron Paul slate in each of the 7 U.S. House districts. Formally, the “fusion” slate billed itself as an “uncommitted” slate, and no one really knows how many supporters of each presidential candidate are on the fusion slate, except the campaigns themselves.

Louisiana Republican Caucus — 89 Comments

  1. All of the Republicans listed above are thieves and corporate puppets. This should be expposed in the main media, but then the media is bought by the same folks that are helping the above Republicans.

This should be outlawed. I hope that the American people start to get pissed off because if we do not fight back, we’ll continue to get corporate puppets in Washington and big business will keep stealing our cookies from the cookie jar.

  2. Guys there is an easy way to combat this. We are sending canvassing letters to our precinct Republicans. We just added a sticker.

It says “UPDATE. We just got word that Ron Paul won Tuesday’s Louisiana caucus.”

He did. He beat all “candidates”. The pro family slate is not a candidate.

If anyone does a search online they will not find any other candidate that beat him.

    Please follow suit!

On all articles please title “Ron Paul beats all other Republican Candidates in Louisiana Caucaus”.

If any news site digs into this they will have to admit we are correct and either post the truth or keep their mouth shut. Either way a google search will turn up Ron Paul Wins Louisiana.

  3. Willaim,
If you were truly a Giuliani supporter you would have voted for him personally. Instead you sold out the American people and threw your hat to Rupert Murdock. Nice going puppet.

  4. Actually that is not entirely true – Mitt Romney had nothing to do with the “fusion slate” and either did the other candidates. While supporters could vote for the so called Pro-Life ticket which had no pro-life candidates on it – it was not organized and the official numbers are yet to be released.

  5. Ron Paul certainly seems to be a threat to the “first tier” candidates. It indicates the strength of the Paul campaign for Giuliani, McCain, Huckabee, and Romney to gain up on Dr. Paul in the “Pro-Life/Pro-Family” slate (a big joke since all of them have flip-flopped on pro-life issues at one time or another in their careers). I thought Dr. Paul was just a “second-tier” candidate with a snowball’s chance in the desert of winning anything.

It is good to see the neocon establishment running scared.

    Vote Ron Paul!!

  6. They formed a CARTEL??? This gang of entrenched mediocrity are destroying the only process we have left to us!

Send this link to all you know and get the word out! Write letters! Call radio talk shows! Make your voices heard!

  7. Gooby is right. Still…Ron Paul is building momentum. Spread the word and support! RON PAUL CAN WIN!! 🙂

  8. Indeed ,It reminds me of those religious sects
where the leader kills all his followers when he is about to get busted by the feds. “Neo-Cons win or everybody looses”

    What a shame?

  9. We are on the march. They are on the run!
After the election it will be time for civil disobedience.
Until then keep your powder dry.

  10. Hey RD, I have a better idea. You know, in the past, we have had marches on Washington. Remember the Million Man March? That is one example. If Paul loses due to corruption, WE THE PEOPLE should march on Washington and show the world that we have been screwed by big business. If there is enough of us, it will get reported all over the world.

Time to be Patriots and stand against Washington corruption.

  11. If we had international observers looking at our election process in the U.S., they would probably point to the Kenyan and Russian elections as being more open and fair. How can we be supposedly ‘Fighting to spread Democracy’ around the world, when the world can see on the fornt pages of their newspapers what a corrupt laughingstock most of our elections have become. And I’m not even beginning to talk about the Diebold (or Premier or whatever the electioneers are calling themselves this week) fiasco in using hackable data cards to tally votes! And what in the world is up with using PRIVATE COMPANIES (some owned by foreign interests!) to COUNT THE VOTES?!?!?! I thought our county clerks were trustworthy and fair enough. But maybe that’s the problem- the parties don’t want ‘trustworthy’ and ‘fair’- they want the results tro match thier pre-ordained picks!

The Founding Fathers may stop spinning in their graves and just launch themselves zombie-like on a clueless electorate to point out how far America has strayed from it’s Constitution and it’s original purpose and ideals. How does this sound: Paper ballots, open and fair counting of those ballots, and only reporting the results when they have been verified as fair and accurate? Now the networks will scream and howl about ‘Delays’, but what’s more important- getting the results EARLY, or getting the results RIGHT?

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++==

  12. Xtrabigg is correct and your ex president Carter has made the same observation about your process failing international standards. But what in gods name is the thing in Lousiana? A new party was created and expires in one evening – I am utterly confused!

  13. It’s pretty obvious that the republican leadership and their sheep don’t want Ron Paul.At some point he should lead his supporters out of the republican party and into the Libertarian or Constituton Party.

  14. So they had to form a coalition to beat Ron Paul! The big guys have to gang up on the little guy in order to win! Guess we know who’s really winning, now don’t we? I can just hear the spin … but now their corrupt little voices steadily drowned out by the truth, AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YE FREE!

  15. Open letter to the armed forces of the United States of America: your country is being stolen while you’re away. Please come home.

  16. This effectively amounts to ballot exclusion. They would not have let Ron Paul people on the phony fusion slate of candidates as infiltrating this list would have effectively countered this strategy. So unless you can get an outright majority in such a situation, a winning plurality gets you nothing since the rest of the creeps can hide under uncommmitted status.

  17. I don’t know a single Ron Paul supporter who will give up this fight at any time. We will WRITE in his name on the ballot in November 2008 to WIN the presidency, if that’s what it takes. This stupid primary system is really designed to ensure that we continue getting the same lame “pick the lesser of two evils” that we always get.

Ron Paul supporters know better. It would be foolish to think if he doesn’t win the Republican nomination, that his supporters will just throw their hands up and say “Oh well. Freedom was a nice thought, anyway. I guess I’ll just vote for one of these established pro-big government candidates instead.”

RD, keeping the powder dry is a good idea. Because the Ron Paul movement will explode like a powder-keg!

  18. They can’t do this in every state! If we continue to share RP’s message with the unfortunately uninformed the momentum that is already building will be in snowball effect soon….if every election goes as Louisiana’s did…I’m afraid the powers that be will have a lot of questions to answer from A LOT of angry Americans…Regardless of who you are voting for…FAIR IS FAIR and this…just isnt!

  19. Isn’t Ron Paul ProLife?

Funny isn’t it, how religion can cloud minds as the powerful easily puppeteer the masses into believing that a caucus to choose top tier candidates, becomes instead a way to manipulate the desired results.

But then you have to appreciate folks like William – because the hypnotized do not lie.

I’m also amayzed how everyone is surprised Paul is doing so poorly in the “official” results, anyone who worked on the 2000 Green/Nader campaign can tell you all about being locked out. Besides caucuses have always been rigged, it’s why they’re designed they way the are, allowing the ruling powers to choose who they want.

  20. It doesn’t matter if the other campaigns formed a pro-life/pro-family slate (Mitt pro-life?) except for the MEDIA. otherwise we still get the same number of delegates to the state convention. The other FUSION delegates are now UNCOMMITTED, which means that they could vote for anyone, including Ron Paul, but are most likely to break up into their previous choices. I mean can you see a Huck supporter voting for Mitt? So PAUL still have the most delegates at the convention. That means PAUL picked up AT LEAST 10 delegates last night. Probably more, with another 11-12 being split between the other 4 and 22 uncommitted unless there is a clear majority (51%) in the primary, which will mean those 22 go to the winner. Clearly underhanded, but does not affect Ron Paul’s delegate count.

  21. Ableann,

It does matter. Now if Paul doesn’t get 50% of the vote on the 9th the other 22 delegates go to the Pro Life ticket. Its now 50% or bust for him on the 9th.

  22. Yesterday, Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe of Roe v Wade) publicly endorsed Ron Paul for President because of his strong support of the pro-life platform and, most importantly, because of his impeccable and principled voting record during his 20yr AS A REPUBLICAN in Congress. Dr. Paul is a man who does what he says … and and quite frankly, that can’t be said for the other candidates.

I don’t understand why folks are scared or turned off by his platform of limited government, fiscal conservatism, strong national defense, and adherence to the constitution. When did these philosophies become fringe for the Republican party?

Please do your own research – don’t rely on the corporate media to give you the whole picture.

Ron Paul for President, Restore the Republic and Take Back the GOP (to it’s traditional roots) 🙂

  23. Keep the Revolution burning people!!!

Tell everyone you come in contact with to vote for Ron Paul in your local Primary!

Keep the donations coming into the campaign!!

Lets make the Ron Paul Revolution the Mainstream, and the establishment the fringe!

  24. John McCain was racist in the SC debate, read it here:
    http://www.nolanchart.com/article1084.html
Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that “there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between” Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like “America Deceived’ from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
Support Dr. Ron Paul and save this great nation.
Last link (before Google Books bends to gov’t Will and drops the title):

  25. I have to say this- the gang up against Ron Paul just goes to show you how strong Dr. Paul’s vision and support really is.

As upsetting ias it is, I think Dr. Paul is taking this with a bit of pride, as he should. To have to be ganged up on- now THAT’S a compliment!

Kudos to you, Dr. Paul and to all of us supporting the rEVOLution!

  26. This is outright shocking. Ron Paul essentially WON and only by what practically amounts to cheating could they disrupt it, and even then this gets NO media attention just because of the fact that it establishes Ron Paul as a TOP TIER candidate!

  27. The media are all run by the Council on Foreign Relations – Time, Newsweek, CNN and most of the ‘mainstream’ press have editors and/or owners who are CFR members – just like McCain, Clinton, Obama, Thompson and Huckabee. Of course they won’t report on Ron Paul, but they will pose as ‘independent news.’ I say a few false advertising lawsuits ought to shut those CFR socialist creeps down for a while.

  28. Provisional ballots have NOT been counted yet. They make up a large percentage of Ron Paul votes and are being counted this minute. Your article is a sham.

  29. How in the world is this article a “sham”? The facts were just being reported. I am not sure why that qualifies as a “sham”

  30. This is ridiculous.

See the following articles for more information (the articles are listed in the order of their release with the top article released 30 minutes ago, the bottom article released 3 hours ago):

Ron Paul Victorious in Louisiana Caucus
    http://www.nolanchart.com/article1392.html

    Ron Paul Wins in Louisiana
    http://www.nolanchart.com/article1387.html

Something is afoot with Ron Paul in Louisiana
    http://www.nolanchart.com/article1381.html

So…Who Won the Louisiana GOP Caucus?
    http://reason.com/blog/show/124573.html

  31. This will blow up in the face of the Louisiana GOP. Generally, no one cares about the Louisiana Caucus. However, if it can be shown that “the powers that be” colluded to prevent a Ron Paul win, well, that’s news.

I suspect organized effort to subvert the democratic process will garner more publicity and support than Ron Paul would have received had he won the caucus outright. Fox News tried to exclude Ron Paul from a debate, and it’s still wiping the egg of its face. This is an actual caucus. People all over the country are going to latch on to this as proof of the oft mentioned “conspiracy” to exclude Ron Paul. Thanks Louisiana GOP, you may as well have made a Ron Paul commercial.

  32. Ron Paul is a SOUTHERN BAPTIST (possibly the most fundamentalist denomination in America)!!! There isn’t a damn thing anti-life, anti-family or anti-Christian about him. He’s even a creationist for Heaven’s sake. The fact his faith is so sincere that he rejects his expected Republican roles as an asshole warmongerer, corporate sock puppet and a freedom hating facist doesn’t turn him into some kind of secularist antichrist. The abuse of faith in American politics makes me want to vomit.

  33. It appears the GOP is in self-destruct mode. By alienating the mostly young voters who support Dr. Paul, they are ensuring the party has no future.

  34. The LA Republican party extended the application deadline for delegates once the Ron Paul group turned in their applications at the last minute, so they could scramble to run enough of their own delegates. I was at the LA caucus. Many of the “fusion” candidates included local politicians; state representatives, senators, etc. The party must have scrambled their local machine after the original deadline to get their members to run, then called all their supporters to come vote for their “list.” The elected officials who ran for delegate did not wear any pins or associate themselves with any candidate (the ones I saw). This is not the job of our elected officials, to steal from the people. They are supposed to vote in their respective positions according to the will of the people instead of running as delegates and pooling together to keep the people enslaved to the machine.

  35. DO ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ WE REALLY WANT CHANGE?

Can anyone figure out a way to get a website going that could organize a Million American Patriots March on Washington? Enough is enough. We need to be HEARD by the corrupt in Washington and also internationally via the international media – that we are taking our country back.

If ANYONE can figure out a way to organize this type of March, please post it here. I’ll come along with my Ron Paul poster and my LOUD voice!

  36. Steve, that’s truly screwed up. We need a clean-out along the lines of Mayor Laguardia in New York. Enough is enough.

  37. Time to redouble efforts in support of Paul. We may have to back an independant run. The sheeple are still ignorant. In light of the economic tempest menacing overhead, we cannot afford to let the MSM paint the fantastic facade they have become masters at. We must use the economic downturn to open eyes. It is unfathomable that the masses who grow more impoverished every day rally behind the establishment lackeys robbing them blind. McCain was a non-entity, has-been less than a month ago. The power of the press at it’s sickening, snide, uppity, plutocratic best. Take the power back. What to do? Organize local rallies. Each and every town with two Ron Paul supporters to rub together, rally. Every town in this Jerry Springer audience of a country rally on the same day. If media fails to notice, pass out fliers during your rally predicting such, alluding to the controlled nature of even local media and of course the (FEDRES) monopoly. If media does/doesn’t notice, rally after work the next day. Every Ron Paul supporter marching through the neighborhoods awakening people from now through super Tuesday, we will be heard. We have to be. Hate speech censorship and domestic terrorism charges and punishment await us if we do not. The myriad cretins lurking at MSM (Bill Bennet, Tim Russert, Carl Cameron) and their devoted (lobotomized) audience harken this for us.

  38. Sorry, Gooby, for stepping on your toes, I tried to post this at another blog after an article of the same thread. No one was advocating any action. I like your idea as well, and would like to see both carried through. I would also like to suggest a central hub web page devoted entirely to single page PDF fliers ready for download and dissemination, pertaining to MSM cartel, Fed Reserve ownership, Inflation tax e.g. gas prices-to be distributed at gas pumps while we each refuel, Neo-Con menshevik roots, Ron Paul, anti-establishment candidates campaign endorsements, 9/11 truth, etc. Supporters could submit created fliers. I am far too inexperienced (stupid) too attempt this yet,and this needs to be implemented immediately.

  39. Everyone please read (or re-read) comment #22 by Josh Straub. I whole-heartedly agree! Ron Paul is the man I am voting for this November – whether he WINS OR LOSES the Republican nomination. I will write his name in, if I have to and would like to encourage others to do the same. He is the only candidate who matches my values and beliefs. I, like many others, am tired of voting for someone that I really don’t want just because I am afraid of “wasting my vote”. Now look where that mentality has gotten us today? RON PAUL CAN WIN THIS!! Write his name in on the ballot this November!!

  40. The corporate puppets should be careful of tampering with the vote, for in the long run, if they effectively take away the ballot box, the only box left will be the cartridge box….

  41. Couldn’t we hold some marches or something down in Baton Rouge where they are ‘tallying’ the votes. Maybe the media would ‘catch wind’ of the protest and then national from there? I feel that we just need to get this out there. Just a thought.

  42. This is an extraordinary result for Ron Paul! It is quite evident that Washington establishment fears him… but it means he has really many chances to win!
Until now I never sent money to Paul, but this is the just moment to support him.

    GO, RON, GO!

  43. If they are going to corrupt or voting system. I wonder what we did in Iraq. The US is supposed to be the model for the world…right.

  44. Brenda, the media is the problem, not the solution. The vast majority of the Western Media is an adjunct arm of our Central Bank’s Owners. Western media is in the hands of a cartel set in place to withhold information from the proletariat. Check out NatAll’s web page “Who Rules America” for yourself.— Be Warned, This is the first step down the rabbit hole and a paradigm shift awaits if you take this step— This is why it is co crucial to take back control of news dissemination. Spectacles so outlandish that the sheeple will take notice without the normal information gate keeper’s approval are required. The people must reclaim the mantle of news dissemination if we wish to have any say in the way our country is run.

  45. I am also a Ron Paul supporter, but I feel that it’s necessary to stress that running a fusion slate IS ENTIRELY LEGAL. The LA GOP may have broken some laws if they engaged in voter suppression against Paul supporters, but nothing about the PLPF fusion slate is even vaguely illegal, so let’s not get off on rabbit trails.

Also, the person above me is advocating a National Alliance website, and I understand that they are a hate group. Neither I nor Dr. Paul appreciate that, since it’s not only racist but also quite harmful.

  46. Do not be deterred. It just validates the weakness of the other four candidates. Word of this action is spreading like wildfire and more independents will be getting in line to join Dr. Paul in his quest for truth. The more they act to suppress him, the more people are responding to join him. Just another feather in the cap against tyranny.

Thank you, republicans, your transparency is becoming more obvious every day. Prepare to lose your party.
    Just fuel to the fire.

Stand proud, Ron Paul supporters, it’s only just begun.

  47. First the ignore you,
    then they ridicule you,
    then they fight you,
    then you win.

    What doesn’t kill you
    will only make you stronger.

  48. Greetings from the post-communist Europe!

I’ll only say this: I haven’t seen such a shameful farce ever since the fall of Iron curtain. And if you are acquainted with European history, you know that says a lot.

Do whatever you must, but please, don’t let them win.

  49. “Pro-Life/Pro-Family” slate? Oh, the irony!

Ron Paul is staunchly pro-life — he’s a medical doctor who helps mothers deliver babies. He’s also been married to the same woman for over 50 years, has 5 children, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

There’s not a candidate who is more pro-life and pro-family than Ron Paul.

  50. There has been an official announcement that the CABAL came in 1st. McCain 2nd, Ron Paul 3rd and Romney 4th. I guess this was really another tactic to split the vote so Mccain can win. Thompson did that for McCain in South Carolina.

  51. It’s time to quit talking. We all know the right people to quote. We all know the correct arguments: They are all on our side. It’s time to start doing, and like John Leland of Virginia, to kill our pride and follow whoever God has for us to take the lead. (double meaning). Our forefathers stepped over the bodies of their brothers–and kept on charging. I think I hear a bugle over yonder hill……..

  52. What a freakin travesty! The levels to which they will sink continues to astound me.

The deck is completely stacked against Paul, I hate to say it but it seems like his only chance to win is if he runs as a 3rd party candidate. He better not drop out if he doesn’t win the republican nomination!

  53. Guliani is on the chopping block and Huckabee will be soon after. Ron Paul isn’t going anywhere. Ron Paul can beat whoever the GOP throws at him.

  54. as angry as we are…. noone will do anything unless they are missing meals…. as long as the football game is on and beer is in the cooler… life is still too good for the american people… untill you see mass amounts of people hungry and poor…you will not see any movement like the constitution proposed.

untill that day.. i think everyone should go out… get a rifle.. get lots of ammo…
    and sit and wait….
when its time to fight…. what will you do?

  55. thats right those freaking cheaters had to join together to steal the vote from Ron Paul. how can anyone vote for them.liars and cheats.I thought huckabee was a christian. I thought as an officer mc cain was supposed to have some honor.this is our country too. they just pissed on the constitution and I hope DR. Paul brings this crap up at the debate to expose those cheats. trying to steal the election because they know he is right. truly disgusting and the main stream media goes along because the are bought and sold. he did this with a virtual news blackout because when you investigate him you find he is outstanding and people around the world
are hoping Ron Paul gets elected.

  56. “Rudy McRomney” is a total puppet for the Globalist Elite. Like about 95-98% of those on “Crapitol sHill”, these pawns have sold out to the highest bidder. The same can be said for the DNC frontrunners “Hildabeast ClinTAX”, “Breck Girl” Edwards & “Obuma”…all loyal servants to the true ruling Elite. Virtually all candidates (save Dr.Paul) have CFR connections of some sort, and have proven their allegiance to the Globalist agenda. There is only ONE man who’ll stand for our Constitutional Republic in this “race” for the White House….Dr.Ron Paul!

  57. Juan says, “Ron Paul certainly seems to be a threat to the ‘first tier’ candidates.” That’s true enough, but not far enough: He threatens THE GAME — the globalist game of conquer the uSA for fun and profit.

A lot of globalist Country Club Republicans would sooner vote for Hitlary Klintoon than for Dr. Paul, because, at least, she plays THE GAME.

  58. I’m viewing this from Maryland. What was don to Dr. Paul was onerous, but it was legal. Those of us campaigning for Ron Paul need to focus on three things, delegates, delegates and finally DELEGATES. As you campaign, make sure that you give each sympathetic potential voter a list of approved Ron Paul delegates and alternates. Failure to accomplish this critical step will all but insure that the corporatist’s sock puppets will win. Forward the R3VOLUTION!

  59. Well looks like “uncommitted” will be the victor all over the country, which goes to show you how desperate these neo-cons are to stop Ron Paul. We know the RevolUTION will not be televised so whomever goes to these caucuses, remember to bring your cameras and upload it to youtube.
we will win, one way or another. But we need to have proof of these lies they spread, all these “uncommited” are supposedly going to mccaine so if we get the facts out people will know what to watch for.RON PAUL 2008!!!!

  60. I am beginning to see the fireworks. The Republican Party is in so much disarray right now. Most of the Republican Journalists and talk show hosts are saying the are not going to endorse or vote for anyone.

Giuliani’s campaign is fizzling out. Huckabee is out of money. Romney is being called an Outcast. McCain is running out of funds. After Super Tuesday we probably still won’t have a front runner. And I think its a shame and disgrace to see these candidates use Ronald Reagan’s name to support their agenda.

Ron Paul you go and keep of the fight. I’m with ya.

  61. Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf is lashing out at what he calls Western “intellectual arrogance” toward his country, angrily dismissing claims that rising unpopularity has undermined his authority. He also dismisses allegations that he cannot be trusted to hold free and fair elections as “totally absurd

Looks as if we are the ones that cannot hold a fair election. Maybe Pakistan should oversee our elections.

  62. What you all do is BLAH BLAH BLAH
And what you will get is another puppet doing war in the world.

  63. What a travesty! I noticed a post from an individual from “post-communist” Europe FEELING SORRY FOR US! What does that tell you about the land of the free??? Look, nothing can be done about this EXCEPT we can use it to our advantage. If it is apparent to a European that Dr. Paul is being circumvented by the establishment, then we should have no problem convincing our American brothers and sisters. USE THIS to illustrate the “War On Ron Paul” by the establishment. The fear of the “Good Old Boys” is growing. They see what is happening, and they will do anything to squelch the truth.

  64. Gooby,
How about a huge peace march headed by Ron paul supporters? He may just win. I for one would like to make a statement sooner than later.

  65. The party elites lie then CNN, CBS, NBC, ETC. swear to it, every 30 minutes. Ron Paul won in Louisiana. The neocons just keep thinking up new ways to steal it from the good doctor. But they wear no cloths now.

  66. Ron Paul is a pro-life candidate, so what do the liberals guliani, romney, and mccain do? they form a pro-life ticket and invite huckabee and keep Ron Paul out of it.

The GOP is the sleaziest party in modern history. They toss one of their own under the bus.

  67. Why Ron Paul has nothing on his website about Family Preservation?

If he had anything at all as being Pro-Family and supporting Family Preservation it would be very difficult for Focus on the Family to dare disrespect Ron Paul, but being that his campaign refuses to ignore this huge voting block, it is very easy for anyone to take advantage and claim the support of this voting block.

This is a win-win issue, there are no negative effects and everyone has a family.

I know that Ron Paul won the Louisiana Caucus and both the neocon controlled media the neocon controlled GOP team all the time to ignore, malign and commit fraud against Ron Paul.

When the results are close, the trickery can rob Ron Paul of his victory. Ron Paul needs to win by a landslide in order to cancel any vote manipulation.

If we analyse the results of the Lousiana Caucus we can see that the GOP claims that the “Reagan delegate slate”, otherwise known as the “Pro-Life/Pro-Family delegate slate” won the majority of all delegates. Now Ron Paul is the most Pro-Life/Pro-Family of all candidates but for some very strange reason his campaign refuses to make a ISSUE out of this extremely important point.

The neocons create out of the blue a Pro-Life/Pro-Family Slate just few days before the Louisiana Caucus and they got a majority of the votes… is this not a very telling message that the Ron Paul Campaign is so blind not to see?

FAMILY PRESERVATION is one of the most important issues to Conservatives (real ones, not the fake neocons), to Blacks, Latinos and Whites who are not rich.

Why on earth not tap on this natural group of people who would support Ron Paul if they were aware that he supports this issue.

By Ron Paul campaign and website not have FAMILY PRESERVATION as an ISSUE that he supports, we are not geting millions of extra votes and campaign contributions.

I have been trying already for several months already the campaign to adopt this issue, but to no avail. If Ron Paul does not win the presidency I have no one to blame but either some moron or rather a plant in some key position inside his campaign.

Please call, email, fax his campaign to do what we need to win. Our survival depends of it.

    Please Help

If you want to know more about Family Preservation visit

  68. Rolando,

I’m not speaking directly for Dr. Paul here, but I believe the reason he is not running a “Family Preservation” campaign is because he does not see this as an issue that the Federal government should be involved in according to the Constitution. If you can find a place in the Constitution where it says the government should take part in Family Preservation, post it here.

    Trey

  69. They are actually making it easier to gain support for Dr.Paul when people hear about Louisiana.I have had people who thought he was nuts that are changing their minds.
Not only that but they are asking for campaign literature.
Seems people are a little bit ticked off about the way this party and the media are acting.
    Go Ron Paukl in 2008.

  70. WE THE PEOPLE.
    Remember those words.
    Used to stand for something.
Ron Paul does stand for something. AMERICA
    Vote Ron Paul
For once a politician that speaks the truth.

  71. Some errors need correcting here:

Mike Huckabee has NEVER flipflopped on the abortion issue. He has ALWAYS supported the sanctity of life and the sanctity of marriage. He has ALWAYS been 100% prolife and profamily.

Guiliani, who is out now anyway, isn’t even prolife at all.

One thing mentioned here is correct: Mitt Romney has flipflopped several times.
