Maybe so, but the original vote was not enough to override in at least one house (I forget which one). Apparently, not all Democrats are on board.

I think Douglas won his first term based partially on vote splitting. It would make sense that he’d veto the bill.

The Democrats have a veto-proof majority in the state Senate, and if you add the Democrats, the Progressives, and the Independents in the House, there’s another veto-proof majority. I don’t want to hear any excuses about the votes not being there.
