Colorado Legislature Passes IRV Bill

On May 6, the Colorado legislature passed HB 1378. It lets any municipality or special district use Instant-Runoff Voting, or Choice Voting, to elect its own officers.

    P.R. for legislative bodies

    Approval Voting for executive / judicial offices — i.e. YES or NO on candidates — like voting on ballot questions / issues.

    IRV for single offices is F-A-T-A-L since it does NOT use ALL of the place votes data. See earlier postings.
