The story quotes Barr’s campaign manager, Russ Verney, as saying that the campaign will be using social science and polling data to find specific counties and regions in which an all-out advertising campaign would be most effective.

The Libertarian party had the choice between candidates that would use the 2008 campaign to build a stronger party, and campaigns that would go for vote total. We chose what we chose and we get what we voted for.

I think that you will have a stronger party if you go out and promote Barr at the top of the presidential ticket and below.
