Mayor Bloomberg Gives $150,000 to N.Y. Independence Party

July 14th, 2008

According to this story in the Daily News of July 13, New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg donated $150,000 to the Independence Party, two months ago. The money was a “thank you” for all the work the party did to promote a possible independent presidential run by the Mayor, last year and early this year. Thanks to Bill Van Allen for the link.

something just doesn’t seem quite right with a third party recieving 150K from a major party member it was pushing for president.

  2. Richard Says:

Well, Mayor Bloomberg is not a registered member of any qualified party. He registered out of the Republican Party last year. When he did that, it set off a media frenzy that he was planning to be an independent candidate for president.

How very nice of the Lord Mayor to provide some more shillings for MY Independence Party Charman Frank MacKay to put in his pockets of departed Reform Party chaps from California to continue to assit him in the theft of the Reform Party’s status.

  4. Robert Lewis Says:

New York Mayor Bloomberg’s companies allowed numerous tax warrants, tax liens, Department of Labor judgments to occur that are scattered across the country from California to New York
