Disney Does the Electoral College
July 16th, 2008Walt Disney Pictures has produced “Swing Vote”, which opens August 1. Starring Kevin Costner, the movie is about an extraordinarily close presidential election. It is so close, the results of one particular state will determine who wins the presidency…and the results in that state, even after a recount, are tied. But because one particular voter in that state cast an unrecorded vote on an electronic voting machine, he is permitted to vote again. Implausible, but it sounds like fun. Plz save me a mountain of United States Postage: Pretty much every non Dem and non GOP group [ESPECIALLY BAN!] should contact Disney in Burbank [California] for PAID links [ADVERTISEMENT!]
The least they should do is mail out boxes, big boxes, of Swing Votes buttons! How ever, the advertising dollars should flow for almost a year [DVD and VCR]! Disney wins, Kevin Costco wins, and the swing political operatives win!
