Louisiana Lawsuit Likely to be Filed on September 15

It is expected that a lawsuit to get Bob Barr and Brian Moore on the Louisiana ballot for president will be filed on September 15. It is also expected that Moore will file a lawsuit against Mississippi, also on September 15. Louisiana has not started printing any ballots for the November election, and hasn’t even had its Congressional primary yet. The Louisiana lawsuit will be called Libertarian Party, and Socialist Party, et al, v Dardenne.

  1. TED WEILL IS NOT ON THE BALLOT IN LA WILL THIS LAWSUIT INCLUDE HIM?ALSO ARE THE PROHIBITION PEOPLE GOING TO JOIN IN THE SUIT IN MS?

  2. That’s a good question. I think it probably will include him, but I’m not sure. Thanks for bringing this up.

The Prohibition Party now acknowledges that some of its signatures in Mississippi were not submitted until Monday, September 8, so they have no plausible beef. Brian Moore, on the other hand, got all his paperwork in on the deadline day, September 5 (Friday) so he has a strong case.

  3. THE DEADLINE IN MS WAS SEP. 5 BUT THE TIMR IS IN QUESTION.THE SOS OFFICE CLOSED AT 5PM. BUT THE CODE IS NOT CLEAR .

  4. Complications in Weill – McNulty and the court mandated, court monitored DFW ‘National Convention’ are that Mister Deap Pockets brought a bus load of his employees as deligates and that Mister McNulty is still running for Prez [not vice president] in other venues. Any one know if Mississippi and Louisiana have one party requirements [like Nader and the Reform Party USA] to further block Weill – McNulty from those states.

Shame that Kansas had to get into things by droppin Baldwin from the Reform Party of Kansas ballot.

Mean while the California state elections officer will not replace the old, out dated, John Blare, [Independence Party] Reform Party of California officer slate with the Nader – Gonzales new guys!
