    Richard,

If the Supreme Court decides against Arizona, does this strike down ALL out of state petitioning bans?

  2. Richard Says:

Yes! But of course we don’t even know yet if the US Supreme Court will accept the case.

  3. Demo Rep Says:

One more chance for any amicus folks with some brains about —

    Separate – is – NOT – equal.

i.e. ALL of the UNequal stuff in all 50 States for major party candidates, minor party candidates and independent candidates.

  4. Andy Says:

Damn, the establisment politicians in Arizona sure are determined to make ballot access more difficult. They sure are afraid of having more choices on the ballot for the voters.

  5. D. Frank Robinson Says:

The politicians in Arizona have caught the Oklahoma disease. It comes from practicing bi-partisan political monogamy. They also don’t trust other parties who might get an inside peek at the corrupt practices of their Mafia code.

Yes, any time Arid Zona gets more democracy, like my SUCESSFUL efforts for Anderson – Lacey in 1980, the establishment strikes back.

Remember, not the best example, the state elected an INDEPENDENT GOVERNOR in the 1980s!

The more we suceed, the more the Dems and GOP fight back.

  7. Richard Says:

No Arizona Governor has been anything except a Democrat or Republican. Maybe Don is thinking of Evan Mecham (elected in 1986), but he was a Republican.
