The campaign-finance segment was part of a remarkable hour-long 20/20 special by reporter John Stossel that critically examined the unintended (negative) consequences of a wide range of government interventions, regulations, and assistance. For a TV news show the scope and depth of this mini-documentary offers the best educational and entertaining (libertarian) analysis of the advantages of free-market and volunteerism that I’ve ever seen!
And to top it off Stossel (finally) used the “l” word: libertarian.
