If I were an NYC voter, I’d vote out any of the candidates that seek to extend their reign into a third term. I’m generally for term limits, but in a city with the politics of NYC, I think it’s a good means of keeping the cronyism at bay, at least to some extent.

Yes, probably very bad news for NYC. With any luck, people’s increasing anger and disillusionment will latch on to this, and throw Bloomberg out.
