Idaho Republican Party Case Set for February 17 Argument

The oral argument in Idaho Republican Party v Ysursa will be held February 17, 2009, in U.S. District Court in Boise. The issue is whether the Constitution protects the right of the Republican Party to exclude outsiders from its primary. All the briefs should be submitted by mid-December.     This is the only pending case against a state-mandated open primary.

    There are three different motions for summary judgment.
