FEC Releases Presidential Vote Totals

After every presidential election, the Federal Election Commission calculates the popular vote for president. Here is the FEC’s tally for 2008. Thanks to Tony Roza for the link.

The FEC doesn’t show any write-ins for presidential candidates unless the state elections office tabulated those write-ins. That is why no write-ins are shown for anyone in Alabama, even though the Secretary of State put up the county write-in tallies on his web page. Since the Secretary of State’s office itself didn’t total up state totals, the FEC ignored the county write-in returns from Alabama.

Also, the FEC doesn’t list any presidential candidate who wasn’t on the ballot in at least one state.

  1. Divide Obama Votes by the Electoral College votes.
    Sort low to high
Result – Obama was de facto elected by 30.7 percent of the total Prez votes in 22 States, NE2 and DC — 284 ECV.

Obama got EC votes in 6 more States — 40.8 percent of the total Prez votes — 365 ECV.

Total 52.9 percent of the total Prez votes — in all 50 States / DC — to give the totally false appearance of majority rule.

Obama got a plurality – minority of the votes in 3 States — NC, IN, NE2.

McCain got a plurality – minority of the votes in 2 States — MO, MT.

I.E. the timebomb Electoral College fortunately did NOT go off in 2008 (as in 1860) — the regime missed a bullet again.

Abolish the nonstop political timebomb Electoral College.

    Democracy NOW
Uniform definition of Elector in ALL of the U.S.A.
    P.R. and NONPARTISAN A.V.

Attention States Rights MORONS — a Prez is allegedly the Prez of ALL of the People — NOT just the about 30 percent of the voters in the *correct* gerrymander E.C. areas.

Every State seems to survive having Governors, Mayors, etc. elected by ALL of the voters in the area involved.
