Sounds good to me. All cabinet-level positions should also be elected.

I’ve never thought about the idea of electing Cabinet members.

Also – U.S. Secretary of State (aka chief Clerk), U.S. Marshals and U.S. District Attorneys — to reduce the number of LAWLESS Presidents in the future.
What State ONLY elects a State governor as the only elected State executive officer ??? Duh. NONE of them do so — obviously so that the party hacks can watch each other a bit.
The Prez monarchy stuff is due to the EVIL Alexander Hamilton and his love for the rotted British monarchy at the top secret 1787 Federal Convention.

Once again, you are full of it.
The State of Maine elects only the governor.
