National Popular Vote Bill Passes Nevada Assembly — No Comments

  1. Repeating my comment/request at the posting of the similar story from Connecticut earlier today:

This topic seems always to draw the same comments from someone identified solely as “Susan”. I have never seen “Susan” identified any further.

I have identified myself several times as associated with the Green Party of Michigan, and provided the address of my personal-ISP-space Website. That information is relevant to the discussion, at least to some degree, and I provide it out of respect for the discussion.

I would ask that “Susan” show us similar respect, and provide similar identification of herself.

  2. Repeating my comment on John’s comment on the earlier posting…

Susan’s comments look accurate, even if notalways responsive to other comments. Note that I often comment to, and I’ll say this is Rob Richie, director of FairVote and c-author of Every Vote Equal explaining the NPV plan.

  3. An abbreviated version of my reply to Mr. Richie’s response to my CT-thread comment . . .

Mr. Richie’s comments vary with the particular discussion. Comments from “Susan” seem to me to be largely cut-and-paste copies from one NPV thread to the next — thereby failing to take actual part in the discussion these threads are for.

Reports of poll numbers *can* be accurate. *Opinion* comments *can’t* — except as reflections of the writer’s opinion.

I tend to disagree with Mr. Richie quite a lot on this issue, but I respect his opinions because of what I know about his other work — and because he *does* identify himself. I can’t recall seeing “Susan” do much of anything to earn similar respect for her opinions. Hence my request/invitation.

  4. Proper remedy for the EVIL indirect minority rule in the EVIL minority rule Electoral College (which MUST be abolished just like slavery was abolished by the 13th Amdt) —

Uniform definition of Elector in ALL of the U.S.A.

NONPARTISAN nomination and election of ALL elected executive officers and judges using Approval Voting (pending MAJOR education about head to head math).

Genius folks can take note that the 1777 Articles of Confederation were quite illegally dumped due to its MAJOR intolerable legislative, executive and judicial defects at the 1787 top secret Federal Convention.

RI and NC held out for a bit and then joined the new EVIL gerrymander regime — U.S.A. Reps, Senators and Electoral College.

How come EVIL gerrymander AREA stuff has an EVIL hypnotic effect on the brains of lots of brainwashed folks ??? Going back to Adam and Eve stuff ???
