New Hampshire Bill Passes, Would Eliminate the Vice-Presidential Primary

On April 22, the New Hampshire Senate passed HB 35, which eliminates the vice-presidential part of the presidential primary ballot. The House had already passed it. New Hampshire has been the only state that ever held a vice-presidential primary.

    I will now shift my full effort on a Presidential nomination from Guam.

    I always dreamed of going to New Hampshire and running for VP after I retired. Now I will have to develope some other retirement dream.

    It made news when it became a referendum on Spiro Agnew in 1972, and when Jesse Helms won it in 1980. I hope they keep it, it makes for some interesting news.
