Independent Candidate for California Governor Owes $1,750,986 in Back Taxes

The San Francisco Examiner of April 24 says that Georges Marciano, who announced on April 10 that he would be an independent candidate for Governor in 2010, owes the state $1,750,986 in back taxes. See this story.

    Obviously Mr Marciano is aiming too low. With that kind of a back tax bill, he should be in Obama’s cabinet.

    Didn’t Geithner have about $30,000 in back taxes? And didn’t Obama just dismiss a nominee for having a few hundred dollars in back taxes in her HUSBAND’S business?

    I’m no Obama supporter, but I’m no blind criticizer of him either.

    Bush had high poll numbers when he invaded Iraq.
