Trenchant Description of Connecticut Working Families Party’s “Class Warfare” Bus Tour

Mark Ames wrote the piece, and he is a very good writer. His title is, “What Happens When Angry Citizens Crash the Gates of America’s CEO Class?” The subtitle is, “They chicken out at the last minute. Recounting the doomed bus tour of AIG executives’ posh homes in Connecticut.”

This is totalitarian socialism on parade, an utter disregard for private property rights.
The bailouts should never have been passed by Congress in the first place.

What a powerful article. The moral of the story is so obvious and so true. As long as we, the peasants, continue to treat these people like kings, their wealth and power will never be in serious jeopardy.
And the media, even if sympathetic, can overpower, cannibalize, and kill something really important.

If anyone is outraged at corporate welfare there is a solution: spend your own personal money on only the bare necessities of life. Stop enriching the business owners at your own expense.
This is a concept that eludes ALL political parties: Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Green, etc.
