Connecticut Blog Attacks Public Funding Decision

“My Left Nutmeg”, a blog for Connecticut “left” Democrats, has this lengthy criticism of yesterday’s decision in Green Party of Connecticut v Garfield. Connecticut state officials said on August 28 that they will ask the 2nd circuit to issue a stay of the ruling, while the state appeals.

    I should have mentioned in my posts about the decision that I was a witness against the law (although I feel my testimony had no impact on the outcome).

    That analysis is clearly bitter and partisan. The writer is probably a Democrat who hates third parties because of Nader in 2000, as is common on blogs like that. Unfortunately, a lot of people let things like that cloud their vision of what is fair.
