I retract the phrase “loosely organized” since I no longer live there. I anticipate the party growing well in the state since the party’s platform caters to fiscal discipline and restricting the federal government to its Constitutional limitations.

Le Snelling: The Constitution Party made be the option to which many are looking. Although loosely organized in New York, many other states have well-run organizations and are growing their membership faster than the GOP and the Democratic Party.

I emphasize TRUE, not conservative values where one does not need to use terms such as compassionate conservative as a true conservative is compassion and follows Judeo/Christian values in personal, business, and political life

so just what is a Republican anymore? Social conservative, RINO, moderate, fiscal conservative, right wing nut that would increase the size of government in order to control our personal decisions? They are all over the board with an image that Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater would NOT recognize. Sad.

So the GOP left me, Ross Perot woke me up to fact that I was fiscally responsible, and the Libertarian Party woke me up to fact that ultimately I am a fiscal libertarian, because we can’t build enough jails and have a police force big enough to mandate personal behavior. Germany tried it in the 1930′s and the GOP hard right wing nuts seem to relish in telling us how to live our personal lives.
Most people fall in the middle and “just want to be left alone” darn it.

The RINO’s out there are the ones who actually believe in the Constitution. I met an elected Republican who said he was a RINO because be was working for liberty and freedom. Most Republicans are like George Bush who said the Constitution was nothing more then paper.
