Imagine the snack aisle with a choice between Cheezits and Cheese Nips. That is the metaphor I will sometimes use to explain how limited the choice is for voters without third parties. It’s too bad that Huckabee has the tv show since voters will flock to him in the 2012 primary as “the next Reagan.” No, I do not see him as in that way, but he will have Christians and “conservatives” put him over the top unless “the money” that pushed McCain to the top will go to Romney.

THIS deal with Mr. “Huck” is a prime example of what we are dealing with in Ohio. The GOP has some far right wing extremists and NeoCons that would stomp all over our 1st, 4th, and 5th amendment rights. THey do NOT believe in free market principles because if they did, they would not be wanting to stomp out third parties. Afterall, all the 3rd parties (in Ohio at least) want is the opportunity to get on the political playing field. With the ballot access collusionary “blackout”, it is a wonder that someone has not come up with a political ballot access version of the Sherman Act. Not everyone shops at Wal-Mart or Krogers for their groceries. SOme people like IGA or Trader Joes’s. Third parties are the “mom & pop”/ IGA/Trader Joes’ of political parties.

One has to wonder if Mr. Huckabee is going to change his tune when the Republican Party becomes a minor-sized party (just around 2012, if my prediction comes true). Will he still want people to vote for the GOP, or will he abandon ship and join a different party?

It really is a shame that Huckabee is such a jerk. He comes across as very likeable on his Fox News Channel TV show but his record as governor and the fact that he is on the neocon network to begin with is scary. The only guy on Fox that is worth a damn is Andrew Napolitano.

Too bad we could not get a collection of us together in Long Island to demonstrate against Huckabee the duopolist.
