Florida Republican Removed from Primary Ballot Because his Filing Fee Check was One Cent Too Low
June 19th, 2010Candidates for the Florida legislature qualify by paying a filing fee of $1,781.82. Neil Combee, a Republican running in the 64th district, state House of Representatives, was removed from the primary ballot because his filing check was made out for $1,781.81, by mistake. Combee is running against an incumbent. He expects to file a lawsuit on June 21. Thanks to Political Wire for the link.
