Perot Movement Reunion to be Held Next Month in Texas

On the weekend of October 22-24, a Perot Reunion will be held at the Hyatt Regency Airport at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport.  Ross Perot is expected to attend the Saturday night dinner.  The purpose of the event is for people who worked together on the Perot presidential campaigns to enjoy each other’s company again.  It is not an event for political activity.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 22, and the reception begins at 6 p.m.  On Saturday the event starts at 9 a.m. with informal conversation.  A panel discussion, “The Perot Years, a Retrospective Look” will be held 1-4 p.m.  That is followed by “open mike”, with the suggestion, “Bring your funniest story.”  The dinner is at 7 p.m.

Sunday morning will also provide time for informal conversation.  The event costs $100.  Those who are interested should send payment no later than October 15, to the Perot Reunion, PO Box 7499, Tallahassee Fl 32314-7499.

  1. I am interested. However, if candidates are going to be supported, I would want to have that information before I decided.

  2. Also, I would like to know if there are speakers planned and who is listed at the present time.

  3. Good luck with the event. I am right in the middle of a campaign for the MO State Senate
in which I use a lot of the Reform experience.

So far, apathy seems to be the best description
of the attitude of the voters. Hope it increases
    in the next eight weeks.

  4. It’s nice to see this movement is still around and somewhat active, here in CT it’s kind of quiet. I ran on the Reform party line for municipal (Registrar of Voters) office in Newington CT in the ’98 election. Miss everyone, Best of luck to you all, sounds like a great time. God Bless.

  5. [a] George Weber, good guy, pro veterans

[b] Patrick and sister Bay Buchanan, rot in hell!

[c] Blair, Coffey, Sharpe-Geisler, Bambey, from Jerusalem

[d] Deform Party, shame, shame, shame, not nice at all

  6. This is not a political event. It is a reunion of people coming from all over the country who made history and want to come to share old memories. There will be no political speakers, no endorsements, no recognition of any current candidates.
