  1. Richard, I know that this is off-topic, but I just saw the Prohibition Party’s website and it says that you are one of the keynote speakers for its 2011 convention. Knowing that you are a loyal libertarian, why are you going to speak at a political partie’s convention that clearly holds many anti-libertarian views?

  2. Uh, that was meant tongue in cheek. It is a pretty solidly DEM district that occasionally tolerates a republican winner… but geographically, it is not gerrymandered.

  3. #3, I want to give a talk about the history of the party. The Prohibition Party was the best lobbying force for easier ballot access laws during the period 1893 through 1960, and no historian seems to have noticed this and given the party any credit. The Prohibition Party was far better at lobbying for better ballot access laws than the other permanent minor parties of its time, the Socialist Party, the Socialist Labor Party, and the Communist Party.

  4. # 5 ALL single member district schemes are AUTOMATIC gerrymanders.

The party hack robots know quite exactly how the voters have voted in each gerrymander district when the gerrymander district lines are drawn — even if a district is a perfect square or even a perfect circle.

  5. I pay a quick visit day-to-day a few websites and blogs to read articles,
but this web site provides quality based writing.
