Fourth Circuit Sets Hearing Date in Petitioner Residency Lawsuit

The Fourth Circuit will hear oral arguments in Lux v Judd, 10-1997, on May 12. This is the case challenging Virginia’s law that says no one may circulate a petition for a U.S. House candidate except people who live in that U.S. House district. The U.S. District Court had upheld the restriction last year.
