  3. Did some of the Western States after the Civil War allow foreign folks undergoing the naturalization process the right to vote — to encourage LEGAL immigration into such States ???

  4. Hmm….not so sure that is possible in Texas. I’d have to check the election code language on “delegates”, but I don’t think the code allows this cross party activity…if AE gets ballot access as a party.

  5. been there, done that — Sotomayor and Co. at USCA2C decided that all parties members can raid the independent nominating process while at the same time also nominating party candidates — whether by fusion or not.
