  1. The New Age robot party hacks will now do just about ANYTHING to stay in gerrymander power.

    1/2 votes x 1/2 gerrymander areas = 1/4 CONTROL

Independents are a direct threat to the Donkeys/Elephants.

  3. It appears Mr. Bean has hit the nail right on the head when he writes:

“It appears Jindal and others who agree with his stand don’t want to do anything that might encourage people to desert the ranks of the Republican Party.”

Yes, voters are sick and tired of both major parties. But these policitians will do whatever they can to stop any massive move of voters to the “independent” ranks by changing voter registration laws as well as ballot access laws, where the word or name “independent” will be absent. They see the handwriting on the wall.

I believe the day will come soon when Independents will demand the adoption of either an “Open Primary” or an “Independent Primary” in their respective states where only registered independent voters may participate and nominate candidates to oppose the nominees of what is left of the two major parties.

That day cannot get here soon enough for me.
