Why hasn’t the Libertarian Party of Tennessee jumped on board for this lawsuit yet? I know that they were involved in the previous one in TN.
The Tennessee LP wants to join the lawsuit, but the attorney who filed the lawsuit, who now lives in Tennessee, formerly lived in another state. In that other state, that other state Libertarian Party had a dispute with the attorney. That other state’s Libertarian Party recently revived an old, dormant lawsuit against that attorney, a case which had been all settled. The Tennessee attorney says he won’t represent the Tennessee Libertarian Party unless that other state’s Libertarian Party drops its attempt to reopen that old dispute. The Libertarian national party officers are pleading with that other state’s Libertarian Party to put the dispute to rest, so that the Tennessee LP can enter the new Tennessee lawsuit.
