Rhode Island Republican Party Decides to Continue to Let Independents Vote in its Primaries

On November 16, the Rhode Island Republican Party voted to maintain the policy of letting independent voters vote in Republican primaries. Although a majority of delegates wanted to close the party’s primaries, the measure required two-thirds to pass, and the idea did not have that much support. See this story.

  1. Since when can a FACTION of ALL public Electors make ANY *law* ???

    As usual – the brain dead courts are brain dead about election 000001 type stuff.

    Nominations by ALL electors (top 2 primaries) or SOME electors — as controlled by PUBLIC laws — NOT faction laws.
