Wisconsin Democrats, and labor officials, say they will be delivering over 1,000,000 signatures on a petition to recall Governor Scott Walker, and 845,000 signatures on another petition to recall Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, on the afternoon of January 17. The two petitions weigh one-and-one-half tons and a truck has been hired to deliver the petitions. They need 520,000 signatures of adult citizens. Signers need not be registered voters. How many WI trees DIED for the petition sheets ???
How many NON-WI folks signed the petition – including foreign aliens and outer space aliens ???
1,845,000 signatures / 3000 pounds = 615 signatures / pound.
20 weight paper is 5 pounds per 500 sheets, or one pound per 100 sheets.
So the petitions average 6.15 signatures per sheet. If someone had a sheet with 20 signatures. two blank sheets would have to be turned in to make up for it.
It sounds like when Kinky Friedman and Carole of The Many Names were running for governor. Friedman’s petitions were in a few boxes, while Carole OTMN turned in stacks of mostly empty boxes.
