According to this story, Buddy Roemer recently announced at a campaign event that he will name his vice-presidential running mate in the “near future” and that the choice will “shock, please and surprise” people.

I cannot wait to know this. I have a couple of names in mind and am VERY anxious to hear Buddy’s decision.
I’m intrigued. And in my opinion a savvy move to garner more interest (hopefully positive) in his campaign.

Let’s hope this is Roemer’s last gasp. The last time he had a job in DC it was 25 years ago and he was a deomcrat.
