Natural Law Party of Michigan Nominates Rocky Anderson for President
August 7th, 2012Even though the Natural Law Party ceased to exist as a national political party in 2004, it is still ballot-qualified in Michigan. It recently held its state convention and nominated Rocky Anderson for president. In 2008 the party had nominated Ralph Nader for president, and in 2004 it had nominated Walt Brown (Socialist Party nominee) for president.

The NLP, although on life support, still exists in Michigan. With the nomination of Rocky, they’ll at least be around for a couple more years at least.

Too bad state affiliates of Americans Elect cannot be utilized in a similar manner.

The NLP also still legally exists in New Jersey, though i haven’t heard of a candidate being nominated or even a convention being held in years. The state says it has a mere 36 members registered in its name.
