In addition, Louisiana ballots will carry the ticket of Sheila “Samm” Tittle & Matt Turner. Their ballot label is “We the People.” The ticket also petitioned in Mississippi, but it is not known if it attained ballot status in Mississippi.

  1. yeah, but the Reform Party didn’t qualify their 2008 nominee either, they keep access by running at least one statewide candidate every 4 years (and they ran someone in 2011, IIRC)

    Tittle/Turner also qualified in Colorado

  2. @3

It would appear so. Maybe they just figured they wouldn’t get much support down on the bayou.

  3. samm tittle is a joke candidate, ohara runs the ms reform party like a dictator, and of course he is also a joke

  4. That leaves maybe 4 or 5 states left, if that many, for Barr/Sheehan. They have California, Colorado, and Florida, and they probably couldn’t get enough people for electors in Louiaiana as to why they didn’t get on the ballot there.

  5. JUST THINKING OUT LOUD, I THOUGHT ROSEANNE WOULD ATTRACT A LOT OF INTEREST IN HER CANDIDACY INCLUDING THE HUMOR, HOWEVER SHE IS FAR LEFT IN HER POLITICAL VIEWS

  6. No A3P? They should just give up now if they can’t even get on in David Duke’s state, heheh.

  7. @Catholic: This is honestly weird; the state the that supported Duke the most doesnt have A3P at ballot access. Im not certain if Duke has endorsed Merlin Miller but still. Im still deciding on rather to vote for Gary Johnson, write in Ron Paul, or write in David Duke lol

  8. @Evan: I say you should always vote for the candidate who worked hard to get on the ballot. Why vote for a write-in? They aren’t actively running and the vote might not even be counted. Support the people who stuck their neck out there.

  9. Wow, what good thinking.. This will split the ballot enough to virtually guarantee Obammer to be re-elected..I can’t think of a better way than to vote for someone who don’t stand a chance of winning.. Are we going to totally lose our beloved country before we wake up, or are we already lost?

  10. Roseanne Barr is the worst kind of candidate. She’s a washed up celebrity who has a persona known for witty quips. But she’s never done anything to distinguish herself as a bona fide ideologue. She has no party loyalty whatsoever, and really is not a good vehicle for articulating a party’s vision, motivating activists, or organizing a coalition. Total screw up by the PFP for nominating her. It’s sad that Cindy Sheehan has chosen to be her running mate. Ms. Sheehan can be an influential progressive voice when she has the right project. She needs to get back with the Greens and run for congress as a Green. She can do better for herself and her beliefs than hanging out with Ms. Barr.

  11. J.D. FARGO:Ohara?get real he split the party.
Garry Balis: Last electuon 80 million (plus) eligible voters stayed home. if half had voted third party this would be a vastly different(better)country today.

  12. O’Hara has never proven he knows his way around a courtroom; however, he has consistently demonstrated that since he poses no threat to the status quo the state government would rather have him in power than any potentially legitimate alternative.

  13. @Michigan, Robert. ultimately I am going to vote Johnson. But still; my state counts write-ins. It is cool to see all the write-in names on the SOS site.

  14. @Evan? Are you talking about Louisiana? What machines are ya’ll using? As far as I know, not only do they not count write-ins here, it is not even possible to do so. We use “button” electronic machines. (Though if you vote early, you may get a touch screen, As far as I know, you can’t do a write-in on them)
