Iowa Threatens International Election Observers with Arrest if They Appear at Polls Within 300 Feet

Iowa’s Secretary of State says international election observers are not permitted to be closer than 300 feet to any polling place on election day. See this story. Meanwhile, Iowa allows exit pollsters to be within 25 feet of a polling place entrance. Thanks to Eric Garris for the link.

    Imagine what US media would be saying if Russia had the same requirements for international election observers.

  2. See if this happened in other countries, we would be crying foul that the elections were not legitimate.
