59 Precincts in Philadelphia Report Zero Votes for Mitt Romney

November 12th, 2012

According to this story, in 59 precincts in Philadelphia, Mitt Romney received zero votes. The article does not explicitly say that Gary Johnson or Jill Stein also received zero votes, but the article does use the word “unanimous”, so the implication is that they didn’t receive any votes either. Thanks to Eric Garris for the link.

    Voter fraud?

The article explores that. The reporters looked for a Republican voter who voted for Romney and couldn’t find one.

In the late 1800′s, there were whole counties in the South in which no votes for Republicans were regularly reported.

What type of voting machines are used there? It would be interesting to know. Do they have a paper trail?
