Any idea how much petitioning cost the LP in West Virginia and D.C.?
#1, I think about $10,000 for D.C. and $22,000 for West Virginia.
Two huge victories for LP ballot access.
@2 more than that. When you factor in extra signatures for validity margin and travel costs, plus last minute signature price increases, etc.
More importantly, DC based national journalists will now get used to seeing the LP on their local ballots.
The WV eastern panhandle is home to some DC commuters, so that helps as well.
Horray for WV! The problem though is they still will be the underdog. Any word if they are planing on running someone for Senate in 2014?
