U.S. Attorney General Favors Additional National Voting Standards in Federal Elections — 4 Comments

  1. ALL snail mail paper ballots.

Might even keep the U.S. Postal Snail going a bit longer.

Might even reduce the odds for major flu epidemics due to packed over heated polling places and/or folks freezing outside waiting in long lines.

  2. Isn’t it interesting that this issue of long lines has the curious case of much more often than not occurring in Democratic Party controlled areas. One would think that they would make SURE enough ballots and polling booths would be available in their OWN precincts. Otherwise why on Earth do they spend all that time AND money pushing voters to their polling place every election. Incidentally, who would END up paying for these “new” election standards. Also, how would they penalize States that for whatever reason(s), sensible or not, refused to adopt those standards.

  3. The stockade for politicians and bureaucrats from state, county and city governments responsible for intentionally underserving some areas with polling places and equipment so as to game the vote on a partisan basis would be an acceptable option.
