On January 15, a status conference was held in Noble v State, Mercer County Superior Court, c-86-13. This is the lawsuit filed by the Socialist Party to win the ability for voters to register as members of the Socialist Party. At the status conference, the state said it is still deciding whether to give the party what it desires.
In 2001, the New Jersey State Appeals Court ruled that it is unconstitutional for the state to force all voters to register only as Democratic, Republican, or independent. Since then, it has been New Jersey’s policy to also let voters register into unqualified parties that bring lawsuits to gain registration rights. The 2001 case had been won by the Constitution, Green, Libertarian, Natural Law, and Reform Parties. Some years later the Conservative Party filed a similar lawsuit, and it also gained registration rights.
If the state turns down the Socialist Party’s request, then the lawsuit will proceed. There will be another status conference on February 18. Meanwhile, the Natural Law Party, and the Conservative Party, are no longer organized in New Jersey and no longer run candidates. New Jersey elections officials would be wise if they promulgated regulations on how an unqualified party can obtain voter registration rights, and when they should be terminated.

Hello, we were LIVE from the Giant Artichoke Restaurant, Cannery Row, California yesterday, it was the Cannery Row Show! Here is the LIVE report posted to our board members:

The atmosphere at the Giant Artichoke Restaurant is perfect. There are beautiful marble tables, a bar with beer and wine (more to come), excellent dishes featuring the artichoke, we’re having a good time, good talks and we discussed the medical marijuana issues around the central coast of California.
We had wine, beer, APS coffee which is served here (I had a Latte) and while we surfed around on wi-fi and spoke about the unity, the food was served.
The Giant Artichoke Restaurant is where we’re conducting the meeting of the international political and business unity, and the owner has given us the go-ahead for more meetings next week in one of the three dining areas, Tues., Wed. and Thurs. nights at 6 pm.
Monterey County Libertarian Party chair Lawrence Samuels [Purple Libertarian] and his wife Jane Heider [Libertarian] are attending and eating dinner.
I had the pleasure of explaining all our our system’s concepts of penny credits, common stocks, shares, presidential elections, info. about our members and executives, etc., etc.
Lawrence and Jane are friends with members of the Aqua Tangerine Party and they both also love to eat at Paris Bakery since his office is located near there.
The Paris Bakery is where two Donor BoDs work, Rocio Esparza [Pink] and Dawn Peirce [Pink]. A third interested woman named Dulce (AKA “Candy”) [Info. Not Avail.] is also very interested in joining and she also works at the Paris Bakery.
Right now we’re at Cannery Row, which is a few miles away from downtown, southward along the coast. Cannery Row is also within the city of Monterey, California where the sardine factories were located until the 1940s.

Several board members have ranked all of the agenda items and signed the minutes. Today we received two more, including Hon Worker BoD Liz Haemmel’s [Peace & Freedom] of the SF Bay area and Hon Donor BoD Ralph Beach’s [Libertarian] of Charleston South Carolina. They both signed the meeting’s minutes and Ralph wrote a special note saying he looks forward to working with the Green Party in South Carolina where he’s trying to run for Governor. Ralph is the 9th USA Parliament’s President.
