Kentucky Bill Letting Candidates for President and Vice-President Run Simultaneously for Other Office Passes Committee

On March 12, Kentucky SB 205 passed the Senate State & Local Government Committee. It allows people who are running for President or Vice-President to run for another office simultaneously. Thanks to Political Wire for this news.

    The committee corrected the bill to only apply to the presidency and vice presidency (and some other office).

    It seems like it should apply to all Federal offices, since we don’t vote for the president but the electors.
