National Popular Vote Bill Advances in Connecticut Legislature

On March 7, the Connecticut Joint Committee on Government Administration and Elections passed HB 5126, the National Popular Vote bill. The vote was 9-4. All the Democrats on the Committee voted for the bill. Four of the Republicans voted against it, and one Republican, Representative Rosa Rebimbas, did not vote.
