On March 3, the Minnesota Senate Subcommittee on Elections, part of the Rules Committee, passed SF 585. This is the National Popular Vote Plan bill. It had been introduced over a year ago, and this is the first progress it has made in the Senate. The only midwest state that has approved a National Popular Vote Plan bill so far is Illinois.
I have confidence that pragmatic Minnesotans can get this closer to the goal posts.
