  1. I figured out way why California groups candidates by party on the election results – that way they can leave blanks for the write-in candidates, and a reader can write them in.

7 Republicans, 6 Democrats, and one each American Independent, Libertarian, Peace&Freedom, and independent (NPP) advanced to the general election. Jack Mobley (R) in AD-21 in the Merced-Modesto area obtained 4.7% as a write-in.

3 Republicans and 1 Democrat won where there was a contest among write-ins as to which qualified for the general election.

  2. One more EVIL and VICIOUS Anti-Democracy minority rule election coming in Nov. 2014 in the pack/crack gerrymander districts —

    CA USA Reps
    CA Senate
    CA Assembly

1/2 votes x 1/2 gerrymander areas = 1/4 WILL control indirectly = OLIGARCHY — as evil corrupt as any in world history.

Lots of NONvotes in the areas NOT having 1 D and 1 R.
    —-
    P.R. and nonpartisan App.V.

  3. Official SOS results on 11 July 2014.

Any noises about court action in the close contests ???
