  1. Half of those on the list are ineligible anyway. Rubio’s parents were both Cuban nationals at the time of his birth so he is NOT a natural born citizen. Cruz’a father was also a Cuban at the time of his birth. Rick Santorum’s father was an Italian citizen at the time of his birth. Neither of Bobby Jindal’s parents had naturalized from India at the time of his birth. Rubio, Santorum and Jidal, all being born on U.S. soil, were born as statutory 14th Amendment citizens. Ted Cruz, being born in Canada, would have had to go through the naturalization process to become a U.S. citizen (is he even eligible to be in the U.S. Senate?) and is thus obviously not natural born. The GOP is just as flaky as the Democrats for having absolutely no interest in following the Constitution.
